How often should I wash my hair?

Wash your hair extensions as needed when build up occurs or every 2-3 wears or every other week to freshen it up.

How Much Hair Do I Need for an Install?

For A Traditional Sew-In with leave out you will need:

Lengths 14" - 16" you will need 2 packs or 200grams of hair.

Length 18" - 22" you will need 3 packs of hair or 300grams of hair.

Lengths 24" - 28" you will need 4 packs of hair or 400grams of hair.

Lengths 30+ plus you will need 5+ bundles of hair.

It all depends on how full you want your hair to be. Every one has their own preference and level of fullness and length.

Each Bundle weighs 3.5-4 ounces. Keep in mind that the longer you go in length the less hair you get. The shorter the length per bundle the more hair you get.

Can I Color This Hair?

Yes, our hair can be colored, it's 100% Raw Virgin Hair and it can be lifted from a natural brown to a level 10 blonde with professional help. If you're thinking about altering the color after you receive it, we highly recommend you hire a Professional Colorist to perform this service. After the coloring service, you must keep it well moisturized and treated to prevent dryness on a regular basis. Please keep in mind that after a chemical process your hair is no longer Raw Hair, it is now referred to as Processed Virgin Hair, which is still 100% good quality premium hair.

What is Raw Hair?

If you're familiar with Raw Hair then you know it's the BEST type of hair to get on the market. Raw Hair is cut from a single donor, immediately after the hair is cut, it's wrapped into a bundle to keep the cuticles intact and aligned to prevent matting and tangling then co-washed and left air dried before it's ship to it's retailer.

Mimics natural hair behavior! Every bundle is unique because each hand-cut ponytail from a donor has a distinct natural hair pattern.

Curl pattern and color varies with each bundle.

Unprocessed and chemically free of all toxics and has not been altered in any way. Requires more maintenance to upkeep!

When it comes to Raw Hair there are only 3 standard textures, Straight, Wavy & Curly. Our tighter curl textures are Hot Steamed in order to get that particular curl pattern. Raw hair last you 5+ years with proper care!

How long can this hair last?

A minimum of 5+ years with good maintenance.

Keep in mind no 2 people care for their natural hair the same way. It all depends on the climate, how often their hair was washed, products used, hot tools, and how the hair was taken care of are some factors to consider when it comes to raw hair.

We do recommend that when you are not wearing your Hair Extensions or LAÍ's to safely place it in your Silk Bag or Wig Box that you received at the time of purchase. It can be used to store away your hair extensions when not in use. Good Habits = Longer Lasting Hair

How Long Do Wigs Last?

Wigs has a life expectancy of 1-5yrs+ depending on how well you maintain it as far as using the right products for maintenance. That will determine how long your wig will last. If your wig is made with either a closure or frontal you can extend the life expectancy of it by replacing just the closure or frontal and continue to use the wefts. The wefts will stay the same but the lace will change over time.

Should I get a Frontal or Closure Wig?

Closure: If you are new to the wig world and you never worn a wig before I would highly suggest the you start off with a Lace Closure Unit. Lace closure units are low maintenance and glueless, you do not need any adhesives such as glue or tape to secure it down. These types of wigs comes with combs and an elastic band on the inside of the wig cap. Our closure wigs are usually made with a 5*5 or 6*6 closure, so you are still able to pull your hair off your face or do a half up half down style. You are limited and only allowed to part your hair only where the lace lays.
Frontal: If you are a wig owner already and have mastered wearing a full frontal, then I would suggest a frontal wig! Frontal wigs are more versatile than closure wigs. Higher maintenance to up-keep if your okay with that! You will have the option of wearing your frontal with or without glue or tape. You can also wear your wig with an added elastic band that will hold down the wig for a snug fit. If you are looking to wearing your wig fully off your face(like pulled back in a sleek ponytail) leaving no hair out, then I would recommend a frontal unit. We recommend booking a consult or an appointment with a stylist who specialize in wigs.

Maintenance Instructions For All Textures

With regular care and attention, you can ensure your hair extensions will last as long as possible(5+years) and will continue to look very healthy with good care.

Shampoo Hair at least once a week to every other week depending on your style and to how often you wear your hair extensions.

Gently brush out your Tresses or Wig starting from the bottom of the hair slowly working upwards to the wefted are before attempting to wash the hair. Be gentle when brushing the strands to reduce shedding and breakage

Use a sulfate-free shampoo

To avoid tangling Do NOT massage the hair, shampoo in a downward motions at all times

Rinse thoroughly with cool-cold water to seal and lock in the moisture

Apply a lightweight conditioner to the strands and comb through the hair with a wide tooth comb or wet brush to detangle before final rinse. Start from the ends up the shaft to the wefted area

I highly recommend " Tressemmé 7X RICH Moisture Shampoo & 7X RICH Moisture Conditioner " for at home maintenance. It works VERY VERY WELL with all our hair extensions products and makes it a smooth transition. You will love it!

Place your Extensions or LAÍ in a safe place to AIR dry every night for best results if you can.

Will The Hair Patterned Changed After Wash & Conditioned?

NO....The Curl Pattern will become more defined, but stay the same after the hair has been washed and conditioned.

HOT TOOLS APPROVED?

*Yes....All of our hair products are hot tools APPROVE! We ONLY sell 100% raw hair. Prior to using any hot styling tools we HIGHLY recommend using a HEAT PROTECTANT SPRAY or SERUM. Frequent or incorrect heat processing can be extremely damaging to your hair extensions. So you need to use styling products that will help protect your bundles when in use.

*The Benefits of Leave-In HEAT PROTECTANT is to Protect your tresses while styling your hair with any hot tools or just from being outside on a hot summer day. Helps with Anti-Frizz, Anti-Static and keeps the shaft of your hair extensions in top quality condition.

*Heat Protectant Sprays offers protection throughout the day from daily environment wear, such as UV rays and heat styling tools and provides superb de-tangling. A great addition for adding elasticity to your hair.

*The best products to use on raw hair are the ones that say re-moisturizing, moisturizing or smoothing, and those that tame frizz.

COILY KINKS OR COILY CURLS HAIR MAINTENANCE

*Due to its curly natural hair texture, we don't recommend heat styling such as blow-drying or flat ironing because you can cause heat damage to the natural curl pattern over time and loosen the curl pattern.

*We highly recommend when combing/brushing this type of hair, to only use a Deman Brush while the hair is very saturated with water to achieve the perfect defined pillow soft curls or coils. Whenever you're going to use a curling product on curly or coily hair, we recommend to dilute the product using water. A spray bottle of water mixed with the curling product or conditioner with make it easy to saturate and define the perfect curls.

*After defining the curls with a Deman brush, let it sit and AIR DRY for long-lasting results. DO NOT touch or play with the hair strands until the hair is fully dry to prevent frizz.

Can I sleep in my Clip-Ins?

Although you may not want to remove your clip-ins every night, we do not recommend sleeping in your clip-ins. Doing this can cause unnecessary tension to your natural hair which can lead to breakage. To avoid tangling, follow these simply directions. When not in use, detangle each weft with a wide tooth comb and store away in your silk bag or someplace safe.
